Building Morale and a Shared Sense of Purpose
On November 13, 2019, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in collaboration with the President’s Roadmap to Empower Veterans and End the National Tragedy of Suicide (PREVENTS) Executive Order Task Force and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, launched Wellbeing in the Workplace, a collaborative effort to prioritize mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Identifying Opportunities and Addressing Barriers to Entry
Established to connect military spouses with companies committed to hiring, Military Spouse Economic Empowerment Zones (MSEEZ) are collaborative efforts among the local business, civic, and military communities that establish employment networks in municipalities around the country. Working with a broad array of public and private sector supporters, MSEEZ foster collaboration among local stakeholders and work to identify opportunities as well as barriers to entry for military spouses seeking meaningful employment.

Learn more about working with Hiring Our Heroes
To recruit at a Hiring Our Heroes hiring event, nationwide employers must have at least two open positions in the location of the hiring fair and at least five positions open nationally, while small businesses must have at least one open local position. Employers are attending to recruit employees only, not to recruit for multi-level marketing, direct sales, or consulting roles, nor to recruit students or attract business. For complete eligibility details, contact HIRINGOURHEROES@USCHAMBER.COM.  
There is no cost for job seekers or employers to register for or attend a Hiring Our Heroes event.
