White House Representatives Participate in Hiring Our Heroes’ Military Spouse Symposium

Hiring Our Heroes on Oct. 3 joined the Military Officers Association of America to co-host a military spouse symposium at Camp Lejeune, attended by Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump, Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway, and Special Assistant to the President and White House Deputy Director for the Office of Public Liaison Jennifer Korn. The officials engaged in a conversation with military spouses, diving deeper into the career challenges they face and discussing opportunities for improvement.

“Our military spouse team works hard each and every day to find innovative solutions to the challenges faced by military spouses as they search for meaningful careers,” said Eric Eversole, vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and president of Hiring Our Heroes. “The White House has shown a strong commitment to that mission, and we look forward to the impact of our collective efforts.”
