Fellowship Program Employers
Hiring Our Heroes fellowship programs provide transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, and military caregivers with professional training and hands-on experience in the civilian workforce, expanding corporate America’s understanding of military community talent and providing a pipeline of that talent into civilian careers.
There is no cost for employers to participate in Hiring Our Heroes fellowship programs.
Host Company Requirements for Specific Programs
- Offer training in positions typically requiring a bachelor’s degree and leadership experience (or equivalent experience)
- Place fellows into roles where the company has open requisitions that they are seeking to fill
- Be willing to interview fellows for professional-level roles and/or be willing to refer fellows to opportunities within the company’s network
- Commit to attending one networking session and graduation with each group of fellows
- Utilize Salesforce in their operations
- Offer training in positions typically requiring a Salesforce certification
