STAFF SERGEANT, U.S. ARMY | MOH RECIPIENT
Staff Sergeant Ryan Pitts joined Hiring Our Heroes and Toyota as a Personal Branding Ambassador in 2017. Ryan enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 17 under the delayed entry program and deployed twice to Afghanistan in 2005 and 2007. Ryan was awarded the Medal of Honor (MOH) for heroic actions in Afghanistan in 2008. He departed active duty service in 2009. Ryan is a polished public speaker with a talent for engaging with business leaders on the topic of veteran employment and the military transition process.
