Join us on August 27, 2013 for the Hiring Our Heroes/Heroes to Hometown's Transition & Benefits Job Fair held as a part of The American Legion's 95th Annual National Convention in Houston, Texas.

This hiring fair will be for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and eligible spouses and will be held at the Room 342, 3rd Floor, of the George Brown Convention Center, from 10 AM to 2:00 PM. This event will be a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for both employers and job seekers.

This First Command- and USAA-sponsored hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, The American Legion, the Greater Houston Partnership, the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Texas Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, NBC News, and other local partners as a part of The American Legion’s 95th annual National Convention in Houston.

First Command Educational Foundation Workshops

Interested candidates must complete the FREE electronic pre-registration in order to participate. A maximum of 50 participants will be accepted for the workshop. Walk-ins will be allowed if all pre-registrants fail to attend.
