The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and veteran recruiting partner RecruitMilitary were proud to present this Hiring Our Heroes event to all military job seekers and their spouses. This exclusive hiring fair was free for servicemembers, veterans, and spouses and will be held in Atlanta, GA. This was an excellent opportunity for top employers from across the country to connect with high caliber candidates.

The employment workshop consisted of a classroom session beginning at 10:00 AM followed by GE's own veteran employees conducting one-on-one mentoring sessions with all pre-registered participants. Mentoring sessions focused on resume building, resume writing, and interviewing techniques for all job-seeking veteran and service member participants.
Interested candidates must have completed the FREE electronic pre-registration in order to participate. A maximum of 50 participants were accepted for the full workshop. Once the pre-registered candidates had their coaching sessions, the opportunity was available for “walk ins” to have a coaching session through the end of the Fair (depending on availability).
