Transition Summits with Hiring Our Heroes & USO Pathfinder

Hiring Our Heroes and USO Pathfinder have teamed up to host one- and two-day transition summits focused on the military-to-civilian career transition held on U.S. military installations across the globe.

Transition Summits feature interactive and informative panel discussions, recruiter training, and facilitated discussions focused on improving competitive employment for service members, veterans, and military spouses. Summits may include a networking reception for employers, military leaders, and job seekers, and a hiring fair.

Two-Day Military Spouse Hiring Events

At our two-day Military Spouse Hiring Events, you’re invited to connect directly with HR experts and hiring managers from local and national companies. Build your professional network as you interact with dozens of companies at a free evening networking reception, then return the next day for a massive hiring fair. This event is free and is open to all military, veteran, and Gold Star spouses, as well as employers and service organizations. Service members and veterans are also welcome.

 

Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Employment Forums

At our full-day Military Spouse Employment Forums, hear firsthand from successful career-minded military spouses and get expert advice on growing your career, then build your professional network as you interact with dozens of companies at a free evening networking reception. Sessions include:

  • Real Spouses, Real Stories – Hear how fellow military spouses successfully maintained careers or started over after transition
  • Salary Negotiations – Learn more about salary and compensation packages and get expert tips on salary negotiation
  • LinkedIn for Military Spouses
  • National Focus on Military Spouse Careers Panel – Join in a lively discussion focused on current topics in military spouse employment

 

Hiring Our Heroes Sports Expos

Hiring Our Heroes Sports Expos are hosted in partnership with professional sports organizations at venues across the United States. These events include interactive and informative panel discussions for recruiters and jobseekers, and facilitated discussions focused on improving competitive employment for veterans.  Attendees are able to connect directly with recruiters and hiring managers from local and national companies of all sizes. Expo attendees may be eligible to receive tickets to attend an sports game or exclusive event.
